Editorial Policy
Focus and Scope
Journal of Innovation and Community Engagement (Journal of ICE) is a community service journal managed by the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Kristen Maranatha, with national and international scope. This journal focused on dissemination of community based research and innovation, applicable technology, and practical solution, to be implemented in society to solve everyday issue, to develop community potential, and to improve general welfare through public participation and partnership.
We accept articles from diverse backgrounds of
- academic researchers
- company researchers
- students
- individual pracitioners
Each submitted article must meet a predetermined journal format (template provided) and through an editorial process including a double-blind peer-review. Initial evaluation begins with Turnitin check with a maximum of 30% similiarity.
Please kindly ensure that manuscript submitted has been approved for publication by all its contributing author and/or institution and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Review Policy
Journal of Innovation and Community Engagement manages articles based on the results of double-blind peer review.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More.
