Abstrak

Memilih karir menjadi bagian yang krusial dalam kehidupan seseorang. Karir tidak sebatas menjadi sarana untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup namun yang lebih penting dari itu, bagi individu berkarir merupakan bentuk aktualisasi diri dan juga membangun konsep diri dan identitas sosial dimasyarakat. Hal ini membuat fase pencarian karir dan pekerjaan menjadi hal yang tidak mudah bagi individu. Khususnya bagi mahasiswa yang setelah lulus dari pendidikannya akan menghadapi dunia kerja yang berbeda dari situasi sebelumnya.  Dalam menghadapi masa transisisi dari dunia pendidikan ke dunia kerja maka individu diharapkan memiliki kemampuan untuk beradaptasi dengan baik sehingga mampu memenuhi tuntutan dalam memasuki dunia kerja. Kemampuan untuk menghadapi tuntutan peran baru didunia kerja ini disebut dengan career adaptability. Dari berbagai studi menunjukkan bahwa career adaptability dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor dari dalam diri individu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meneliti peran dari growth mindset mahasiswa terhadap career adaptability mahasiswa. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa di Jawa Barat dengan sampel sejumlah 119 orang. Teknik analisa data dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa mindset memiliki pengaruh terhadap career adaptability.
