Kemampuan Bina Diri Anak dengan Gangguan Spektrum Autisme Ditinjau dari Pengetahuan dan Penerimaan Orangtua

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan orangtua tentang autisme dan penerimaan orangtua terhadap anak dengan Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) terhadap kemampuan Daily Living Skills (DLS) anak dengan ASD. Metode statistik yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional dengan partisipan penelitian sebanyak 15 orangtua yang memiliki anak dengan ASD dengan rentang usia 8 sampai 18 tahun, terdiri dari 10 laki-laki dan 5 perempuan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan instrumen skala dan teknik analisa data menggunakan Spearman’s rho.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada Maret 2021, didapatkan bahwa nilai signifikansi p value penerimaan orangtua terhadap anak ASD Sig. (1-tailed) dengan koefisien korelasi signifikan sebesar p = ,027 (< 0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara penerimaan orangtua anak dengan ASD terhadap DLS anak dengan ASD.
