About the Journal

Journal of Innovation and Community Engagement (ICE) is a community service journal that publishes academic articles periodically with international coverage.

The journal is intended as a means to disseminate scientific discoveries and innovations from the research community that can be applied in society to solve real problems and challenges. The contents of the journal include various community service activities that can involve the participation and collaboration or partnership from formal educational institutions, research institutions, companies, government, or private institutions as well as target communities for community service.

The topics of journal articles that are accepted are innovations from various disciplinary backgrounds that can be implemented to build community potential and increase welfare in the community.

The Journal of ICE also represents the motto of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Kristen Maranatha, which is integrity (I) in serving with care (C) for the community through excellent (E) innovation.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
